A summary of Sibs’ Journey, put into a slideshow presentation

I was invited to speak about Sibs’ Journey at an event called Evenings With Genetics that is hosted by Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital and takes place at the Children’s Museum of Houston. This month’s topic was siblings of individuals with disabilities. I’ve uploaded my powerpoint presentation on this post because it has a summary of our summer experience and what we learned about sibs.

(Thank you, Susan Fernbach, for including our project among the evening’s other speakers. It means a lot to us that we were able to bring our project into the Houston community. And thank you to Dr. Seema Lalani, Dr. Lisa Noll, and Elaine Haim for your wonderful and informative presentations.)

For any newcomers to our blog, I hope this will help you get acquainted with our project and some of our findings. For our returning readers and supporters, this is a good way to think about the broader themes that emerged during our trip and as we posted on this blog.
